The landscape is an identity marker of the territory. It is the one that we observe, contemplate, take photos of, memorize and which allows us to create memories. All these intrinsic virtues lead the S3V to preserve and highlight this natural tourist attraction for the greatest pleasure of the eyes of its visitors, whether they are permanent or passing through.

In connection with the re-vegetation of construction sites, the S3V places great emphasis on the landscape integration of projects and ensures its effectiveness with the implementation of landscape monitoring since 2015.
Every year, nine precisely located sites and a well-defined framing angle make it possible to follow the evolution of the landscape that has been the subject of development over time. This landscape monitoring also makes it possible to appreciate in the background the natural evolutions of the landscape with climate change.
The Eclipse trail has been the subject of specific landscape monitoring for 3 years in order to note the recovery of vegetation and its integration into the landscape.

The Landscape Observatory is a photographic database that highlights changes in the landscape at our two stations from fixed viewpoints.

- Burial of the last high-voltage cables across the entire Courchevel area in 2020 (S3V Initiative) In total, over the years we have removed 6 km of overhead power lines and more than 85 wooden pylons.
- Reduction of the landscape impact of infrastructure on the area as part of the new projects: reduction in the number of pylons, removal of equipment and buildings (removal of the 3 imposing stations of the TC Plattières, removal of the 2 chairlift lines of the TSF Ramées and Grande Rosière, replacement of 3 chairlifts by the TSD Combes, reduction in the number of RM on Moriond: 4 TK and 1 TSF, dismantling of the TSF Creux Noirs).
