The Société des Trois Vallées (S3V) and the Vanoise National Park (PNV) are strengthening existing partnerships.

Following the AVIFAUNE agreement signed in 2017 with all the stakeholders of the Trois Vallées, today the two parties are pooling their resources to create a Biodiversity Animator position with two key missions:

  • 1 scientific component with the implementation and monitoring of protocols and fauna/flora studies.
  • 1 educational component based on animation and communication on Biodiversity to inform and raise awareness among customers, socio-professionals and our employees.

2024: Creation of a shared PNV-S3V job

Jonathan MORIS joins the teams of the "environmental division" of the Société des 3 Vallées.

Originally from the Ardèche gorges in the heart of nature, he has practiced many outdoor sports since childhood (kayaking, running, climbing, mountain biking, skiing…). These are what nurtured his taste for adventure and the outdoors.

Early on, he went to Great Britain, where he trained and became a whitewater guide. This job allowed him to travel the world for about ten years.

Upon his return to France, he settled in Savoy in the Allues valley, remaining true to his attachment to the mountains. He is now taking over from Guillaume CANOVA as biodiversity facilitator, within the framework of the close partnership that unites S3V and the Vanoise National Park (PNV).

In winter, Jonathan works to raise awareness among S3V customers and teams about environmental issues and to enrich knowledge about the biodiversity of the Courchevel and Méribel-Mottaret ski areas.

In the summer, he joins the teams of the Vanoise National Park on the Plan de Tuéda nature reserve, with awareness-raising and scientific monitoring activities.

The signing of this partnership was officially signed in the Tuéda reserve on February 06, 2024 in the presence of State services, the management of the Vanoise National Park, the municipalities and socio-professionals of the valley.
