Green Snowflake
The Méribel valley has committed to the "Green Snowflake" labelling programme, a key element of the Méribel 2038 strategy.
Flocon Vert is an initiative that recognizes mountain areas committed to sustainable practices . By obtaining it, resorts pledge to adhere to criteria that guarantee the preservation of their environment.
It is based on a tripartite governance structure bringing together the municipality of Les Allues, the ski area operators, and the Tourist Office. Designed around demanding specifications, it offers users a transparent view of mountain tourist destinations committed to a responsible approach.
The territory has chosen to join in order to support the momentum initiated in 2021 with Méribel 2038. This label will make it possible to identify areas for improvement, to benefit from external expertise and feedback from other destinations, while encouraging the mobilization of socio-professionals in these ambitious transition projects requiring collective involvement.
