The Société des 3 Vallées unveils its three Sustainable Development Trajectories and integrates concrete objectives and actions to ensure the future of our mountains for 2030.
Why?
We are both actors and witnesses to the changes undergone by the mountain and its inhabitants (humans, fauna and flora). Just because our activity is impacted by climate change does not mean we are solely responsible; on the contrary, we are among the first victims.
The natural environment is at the heart of our business : our clients come to us to connect with it, and our team members have chosen to live in close proximity to it. Aware of our impact , we have a duty to act at our level to preserve this unique environment and maintain an activity that contributes to the attractiveness of our region.
The Société des Trois Vallées has therefore chosen to make this shift and take concrete action by integrating this sustainable development trajectory into our corporate strategy. Thus, our choices will be partly guided by this desire to respond to climate change and regenerate the biodiversity of our region without abandoning our core mission as a mountain resort operator: to be a driving force in regional development, making the mountains accessible in a world-class setting.*
This strategic document is based on 3 Trajectories for 2030:
- 🌿 Trajectory 1 — Preserve our natural resources.
- ⚡ Trajectory 2 — Reduce our impacts on the climate.
- 👥 Trajectory 3 — Ensuring a sustainable livelihood for women and men in the mountains.
