Since the first action plan for the Black Grouse was created 10 years ago (2013), nearly 40 ha of protected areas have been created near the slopes of the Courchevel Ski Area. They are divided into 5 sectors. These areas, often on the edge of the forest (called "combat zones") with specific markings for skiers, help to preserve the black grouse as well as the other fauna species present: mountain hares, deer, grouse, etc.

To illustrate the actions taken to preserve wildlife within the ski areas of the Société des 3 Vallées, awareness videos are shown on our information screens throughout the area.
