Biodiversity - 3 Valleys Society

Ski areas extend over hundreds of hectares of natural land that are habitats for flora and fauna. We are aware that we share this space with flora and fauna in order to ensure our activity as a ski area operator. We have developed actions to understand the species present in our territories in order to best adapt avoidance and preservation measures.

The Avifauna Convention

To protect mountain birds, and at the initiative of the Vanoise National Park, an agreement has been in place since 2019, bringing together operators and numerous partners. Cable tracking with the Vanoise National Park

In order to minimize the number of deaths caused by impact on the ski area, cable monitoring is carried out in conjunction with the Vanoise National Park (PNV). Every year, a working meeting is held between the ski area and the PNV to identify the devices that pose the greatest risk to birdlife.
