172 of them are permanent employees who work year round, seasonal and 480 were present four months of winter to a minimum.

Our employees are trained in the following trades:

To maintain the ski lifts in summer and winter:
> Electrician,
> Electromecanician,
> Mechanic,
> Warehouse

To sell ski passes:
> Host or hostess sales
> Back office cashier (Internand …)
> Head of boxes,
> Sales Assistant

To operate the lifts in summer and winter:
> Operating Officer,
> Conductor (each driver having a driver’s license for the type of lift)
> Area Manager,
> Logistics

To ensure the safandy of the ski area:
> Ski patrol (1st, 2nd and 3rd degree),
> Artificer,
> Avalanche dog Master,
> Observer snow and weather
> Area Manager

To maintain the slopes in summer and winter:
> Tamping equipment operator (with or without winch)
> Mechanic
> Conductor of construction equipment

To ensure optimal snow conditions:

> Responsible for the installation of artificial snow

To control ski passes:

> Controller Roaming (sworn or not)

In a few dates

> 1946 : Creation of Courchevel by the will of the General Council of Savoie and the Municipality of Saint-Bon wishing to develop tourism and winter sports.

> 1954 : Arrival of Emile Allais (first world champion of French skiing), which introduced innovative ideas for ski area (marking, grooming, work was on the tracks …)

> 1972 : Creation of Meribel-Mottaret and creation of the ski area fully connected, the 3 Valleys.

> 1989 : Creation of La Tania.

> 1992 : Courchevel and Meribel host the Winter Olympics in Albertville.

> 2000 : The status of the company changed: after 54 years as a service of the General Council of Savoie, the company became a publicly owned corporation with a majority of the Supervisory Board and a Management Board.
